All you need to know if you want to learn Kpop dance in Madrid!

A few months ago, Kiss and Makeup reached number one on LOS40 list, the most famous radio in Spain. Its peculiarity is evident: English and Korean are mixed in the song of Dua Lipa and Blackpink. K-pop is internationalized, as evidenced by the boom in collaborations with well-known artists worldwide. His fan base also grows. The days when these fans moved only online are behind, with more and more events to enjoy this music in person.

Among those occasions are the hangouts, which serve as informal fan meetings. They dance the choreographies of each of the hits, sing their lyrics regardless of language, compete in competitions ... But, above all, they talk to people like them, who are passionate about the same music. Their activities vary, but they have random dance in common. In it, the attendees form a circle and those who know the choreography of the song that sounds are placed in the centre and dance until they move on to the next one.

The dance acts as a fundamental point of union within the K-pop community. Fans learn the choreographies at home thanks to dancing practice videos, although they can also do it in workshops and academies. Even Carlos III University offers this year a course of this genre.
